Sinopsis
Di Rutan Pondok Bambu Jakarta, tiga bayi yang baru lahir tinggal bersama ibunya dan dua belas narapidana hamil lainnya, berdesak-desakan di sebuah sel kecil. Tidak ada perlakuan khusus atau tempat tinggal khusus bagi mereka. Mereka diperlakukan sama seperti narapidana dan menjadi korban tak kasat mata di tengah perjuangan ibu mereka untuk bertahan hidup di balik jeruji besi dengan segala cara.
Sementara di Lapas Pondok Bambu Jakarta, tinggal dua belas anak. Empat dari mereka harus segera meninggalkan penjara tanpa ibu mereka yang harus menjalani sisa hukuman. Mereka harus keluar dari penjara karena usia mereka telah menginjak dua tahun, di mana menurut undang-undang, usia dua tahun adalah usia maksimal seorang anak dapat tinggal di penjara dengan ibu narapidana mereka. Masalahnya adalah keluarga mereka di luar penjara tidak mau merawat mereka, sementara yang lain tidak mampu.

Lamtiar Simorangkir
Lamtiar is an Indonesian director, producer and scriptwriter. Her film always carries the story of humanity to inspires people and raise awareness especially for women and children rights.
She began her career in film since 2011 in short films, film television and feature films. She started as Production Assistant and later became Assistant Director. In 2016 she began to direct and produce film independently. In 2017, she was selected as one of 14 emerging filmmakers in Southeast Asia by the American Film Showcase for a documentary workshop in collaboration with the Embassy of United States of America. In 2019 she was trusted to direct and produce a short film for Indonesian Women Empowerment and Child Protection Ministry.
Her latest film “Invisible Hopes” supported by Switzerland Embassy and Norwegian Embassy in Indonesia. The film has just released in Indonesia theatrically. It is an achievement because in Indonesia it is very hard for documentary film to be release in theatre.
She got scholarship and just finished a documentary class from Sundance. Currently she is developing her second feature documentary. She has been invited to some seminars and talk show to talk about her film and activism.
