Sankara is Not Dead

Bikontine’s journey after the rebellion in October 2014 in Burkina Faso follows his dreams of looking for a better life as a poet. From south to north, he walks along the only train rail track in his country. Through the journey of his poetry, he learns about people in the villages, cities that keep on changing, also their dreams and disappointments. Another interesting matter is the uncovering of Thomas Sankara’s legacy, “African Che Guevara”, who was killed in 1987.
