Last Night I Saw You Smiling
Synopsis
A number of 493 residents have to leave their houses which are located in an iconic building, The White Building in Phnom Penh. The housing block becomes a witness to a lot of extraordinary events happening from the golden era, traumatic incidents under the radical regime, moments of revival, and the rapid growth of capitalism which then leads to a downfall. The residents are forced to leave the houses they have lived in for dozens of years with tons of memories.

Daniel Mattes
Dia adalah seorang peneliti, penulis, dan produser Amerika yang berasal dari San Francisco. Sejak 2012, dia telah bekerja di Kamboja dengan pusat penelitian berbasis Universitas Stanford memantau dan meneliti proses persidangan yang sedang berlangsung saat ini di hadapan Pengadilan Khmer Merah. Pada 2016, Daniel Mattes bergabung sebagai penulis bersama untuk Gedung Putih, sutradara Kavich Neang’s Film fitur naratif pertama yang sedang dalam pengembangan.
