Ebbing and Flowing

Synopsis

For the Duano indigenous community, the Batanghari River is an integral part of their way of life. Amid increasingly murky waters and dwindling visibility, they dive to rediscover the knowledge passed down by the river from generation to generation. By involving the Duano indigenous community in the creation of underwater imagery, this film offers a way of understanding the Batanghari River through their bodies, memories, and life experiences.
