Laura Pérez Gómez
Laura Pérez Gómez (Valencia, 1986) is graduated in Fine Arts, with a major in Audiovisual Communications. She combines her job in the Audiovisual Academy of Valencia with her career as a writer and film director. She has been a film critic at the magazine Cartelera Turia since 2013, year she founded the short film festival Requena y… ¡Acción!. She has written and directed several (unpublished) short films of fiction and spots, as well as she has participated in other film projects. Her latest works as a scriptwriter includes the adaptation of the novel ‘Lost Virginity’ (Miguel A. San Joaquin) which obtained the grant for script writing and project development from the Institut Valencià de Cultura. She has filmed and produced ‘The Voice Remains’, her first short documentary film.
