One Big Sumba Family
Synopsis
Martha is the daughter-in-law of MD Raya, her husband is the first son of MD Raya’s twelfth wife. While Adi–Martha’s husband–is studying in Malang, Martha has to work for MD Raya’s family while waiting for her husband to return home. MD Raya is waiting for Adi to return from college to raise the family’s pride, which has been lost since MD Raya ceased to be the village head.

Tonny Trimarsanto finished his study in political science and got his master degree in film study. His works including Serambi, Renita Renita, Mangga Golek Matang di Pohon, Berjalan ke Barat, Di Ujung Jalan, Doa Terakhir, Sungai, and Suatu Hari Nanti. One of his works, Bulu Mata, is awarded as Best Documentary Feature in Festival Film Indonesia. Since 2002, he founded Rumah Dokumenter.
