Welcome to New World
Synopsis
Eun-Jeong, who works for a company by day and manages an independent film community called Curtaincall at night, sees her future at the company one day. She quit her job as she got promoted and then focused on the community. One day after 4 years, she doubted, “am I doing well?” followed by depressed thoughts. Hoping to soothe her anxiety, she visits friends who do similar things to her.

I run the Curtain Call Film Festival, a community cinema that screens one independent film each month and provides opportunities to connect with local audiences. Through my latest film, The Road That Cannot Be Found by Search, I portray the concerns of cultural planners working within local communities and the lives of people who are active in fields that have yet to be clearly defined.
