Synopsis
An anthology of three stories following a passed away mother and her funeral in mountainous city of Wonosobo, a woman who is looking for her missing sister in the city of music of Ambon, and a nearly 100-years-old Koran’s teacher in Rhun Island, the farthest island of Banda Archipelago.

Ismail Basbeth
Born in Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia in 1985, Ismail Basbeth is a self-taught filmmaker, artist, writer, and singer-songwriter. He is an alumni of the Berlinale Talent Campus and Asian Film Academy where he won the BFC & SHOCS Scholarship Fund. Since 2005, he has produced and directed various short and feature films which have been highlighted in prestigious national and international film festivals. He is the co-founder of Matta Cinema, an alternative production house; Bosan Berisik Lab, a nonprofit foundation and interdisciplinary laboratory; and Ruang Basbeth Bercerita, a media and publishing company.
