Subarkah, an art student, is involved in the production of the controversial film, Penumpasan Pengkhianatan G30S/PKI. Guided by senior director Arifin C. Noer, Subarkah takes on the task of handling the makeup for the corpses of the generals. Along his creative journey, he faces the challenges of research that immerse him in the intricate details of wounds and trauma. Childhood memories and his personal view of art add a new dimension to his task.
