Description
“Sri, biografi dalam 65 kata” is a performance uniting words and images. Sixty-five words are written on an equal number of images, then distributed to 65 participants that have gathered. Each participant will hold and take responsibility for one word, then read it out in coordination with and under the “command” of the conductor.
These words, when they stand alone, retain their lexical meaning. However, when they are linked with the other 65 words, they form a story. The story of the life of Sri Wahyuni, a 1965 Indonesian Tragedy survivor.
A story that is getting harder and harder to tell.
