Honey & Moon

Synopsis
Martha (81) and Aceng (77) are residents at Beth Shalom Nursing Home, where they met and fell in love. Two years ago, with the help of caretakers and a priest, they married in Martha’s first marriage ever. She shares fondly about Aceng’s past as a truck driver and his dedication, which drew her to him. Though Aceng is now wheelchair-bound after a second stroke, Martha cherishes his companionship, wholeheartedly taking care of her life partner and staying by his side through relationship conflicts Reflecting on death as a celebration of life lived well, Martha speaks of flowing within goodness love while living, instead of material wealth. Her only wish was to find a husband and friend to love and be loved, and in Aceng, she found both.
