What We Talk About?

Festivals are not just celebrations, rather they are vibrant images that transcend the idea of holding them in order to evoke a different way of perceiving them. At the same time, various ideas about film as a medium have challenged the very existence of festivals. So then, to what extent are festivals able to challenge themselves to resonate with the intersection of film and genre boundaries that often blur? What are the variables that become the long breath in organizing festivals? This talk attempts to discuss various questions about the work of programing within film festivals as an artistic medium and its intersections.
