Held every year-end since 2002, Festival Film Dokumenter provides a space for filmmakers, researchers, students, and the public to come together and explore documentary works as a vehicle for creative expression, knowledge, and social reflection. Through screenings, talks, workshops, and various other public events, Festival Film Dokumenter extends public access to documentaries while creating a space for cross-community exchange of ideas and experiences.

In each edition, Festival Film Dokumenter strives to explore contemporary documentary trends through curated programs that feature diverse artistic approaches, issues, and narrative styles, thereby providing audiences with opportunities to encounter a wide range of perspectives in documentary cinema.
