Synopsis
Rapture I – Visit (2025) follows Ukrainian vogue dancer Marko as he emotionally confronts his abandoned and inaccessible apartment in Donbas, Ukraine, a region affected by ten years of war. The apartment is recreated using a 3D scan of original photographs, offering a digital reconquest of the space as Marko visits it through VR for the first time since 2018.

Alisa Berger (b. 1987, Makhachkala) grew up in Lviv and Essen. She studied film and fine arts at KHM Cologne and Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Her 2017 diploma film earned nominations for the Max Ophüls Prize and FIRST STEPS Award, winning Best Film in Uruguay and H.W. Geißendörfer Screenplay Award. From 2018–2022, she lived in Tokyo.
