Echo–narrated by Tilda Swinton–guides you through the many realities of Goliath, a man who spent years in isolating mental health institutions but finds connection in multiplayer games. As Goliath explains what has happened to him, we experience how fragmented and confusing his reality is.

Barry Gene Murphy
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Barry Gene Murphy currently works as an animator and filmmaker in London, where he also received his MA from the Royal College of Art. His latest VR immersive experience, Goliath: Playing with Reality, received the Grand Jury Prize at Venice International Film Festival 2021 and is now available and touring the world through the Oculus Store.
May Abdalla
May Abdalla has made documentaries around the world for BBC, Channel 4 and Al Jazeera about housing, revolution and punk music. She has made interactive sound sculptures to get people to sing without noticing, an immersive theatre show about our relationship with Syria and a video game about the social history of a building that you play on the side of a house. In 2010 she coordinated a global intervention allowing UK citizens give their vote in the election to people around the world affected by British policies. She is interested in using technology to allow audiences to become part of the story.
