DUST

Synopsis
A family dismantles the apartment of Aunt Juli who recently passed away. Object after object, through the anecdotes and stories that different family members and friends will be recalling, fragments of her figure will emerge: her life as an artist, gender transitioning, her exile to Brazil during the military dictatorship, trans activism and the last years of her life carrying the weight of HIV.

Nicolás Torchinsky
Nicolás Torchinsky (Argentina, 1984) studied filmmaking at the Universidad del Cine (FUC). His shorts, Simulacro (2012) and Once Upon a Time in Quizca (2021), and his documentary debut feature, The Centaur’s Nostalgia (2017), were part of the competitive sections at a number of international film festivals.
