BALANE 3

Synopsis
Balane 3 is a neighborhood in Inhambane, a city in the south of Mozambique. In 2019, I filmed a bit of the life of its inhabitants. Like any people in the world, the characters in this film work as fishermen, butchers, or car washers. They go to school, hospitals, hair salons, and markets. They drink and dance at night, they talk about politics, illnesses, friendships, love, and sex. They talk a lot about sex.
