Synopsis
This documentary is about an important figure who did great deeds in the history of Indonesian cinema, and also one of the most prominent persons in Indonesian cinema. Hajji Misbach Yusa Biran was a former film director who dedicated most of his life to preserving materials regarding Indonesian cinema to record history. This film is as much about his personal life as an archivist as it is about him as the founding father of Sinematik Indonesia.

Hafiz Rancajale is an artist, curator, educator, and filmmaker. He is one of the founders of Forum Lenteng Jakarta. He served as artistic director of ARKIPEL Jakarta International Documentary & Experimental Film Festival (2013–2023) and was the founder and artistic director of OK Video Jakarta International Media Art Festival (2003-2011).
