Synopsis
Tells a story about Enggros women who preserve their tradition to make a living depending on natural resources from Perempuan Forest. In the midst of modernization, they try to maintain the tradition and pass it down to the following generations. Perempuan Forest is a forest that can only be entered by women. This forest is forbidden for men; there will be cost and punishment waiting for those who violate the rule.

Yulika Anastasia
Yulika works with Imaji Papua film community in Jayapura, Papua. She is known as a documentary film director who has produced several works including Tonotwiyat (Hutan Perempuan) and Noken. Her films were nominated at the Festival Film Indonesia in 2019 and 2021 for the Best Feature-Length Documentary category. Yulika has contributed and been involved in various film activism in Papua, Indonesia.
