Program Notes

To understand student documentaries, we can consider them within an institutional framework, where products created under the auspices of educational institutions, especially formal ones, have colored the realm of student documentaries. However, on the other hand, they can also be interpreted as works driven by the spirit and concerns of young people.

In this tug-of-war of definitions, this position is often positioned only as an experiment to translate various perspectives, forms, and ideas. A definition that does not only depart from the symptoms in the film ecosystem alone, but also how sensitive the atmosphere of the world of education and current reality is?
