Yusuf Jacka Ardana (born 2000) is a film student. His short films have already been selected and/or screened in various national and international film festivals, such as Minikino Film Week and Jakarta Film Week. The Whistle Starts Whispering is his first short documentary debut.
Wisnu Candra
Director of Nasida Ria: Sun Stage (2023)
Wisnu Candra grew up doing baking, soccer, illegal motorcycle racing, underground local music, and being a metal factory worker. His upbringing helped Wisnu to craft his films using observational and constructivist methods. For Wisnu, films are a circus and loneliness, that’s why at the end of his films, he gives the slogan You’ll Never Watch Alone.

Gerry currently serves as the Program Director of KDM Cinema Yogyakarta and is a part of Klub Sinema Sisifus Salatiga. He has been involved as a curator, jury, and selector in several festivals, including: Kotabaru Heritage Film Festival, Brawijaya Film Festival, Minikino Film Week, Sewon Screening, and MMTC Film Parade. He is currently working as part of Festival Film Dokumenter’s competition program team and as a programmer for Indonesia Raja: Jogja-Jateng 2023.
