Synopsis
In a village outside Beirut, a mechanic receives many visitors who need to repair their cars. He soon realizes that he not only has to fix their cars, but has to fix the owners as well.

Karim Kassem
Born and raised in Beirut, Karim is an award winning filmmaker mainly working between New York and Lebanon on films, music videos, and commercials. Since moving to New York in 2012, he has completed his first feature, Only the Winds (2020), which was selected for the 50th IFFR. His second feature film, Octopus (2021), won best film at IDFA 2021. It was supported by DFI and RSFF and then nominated for best cinematography at the IDA Awards. His third feature film titled Thiiird (2022) world premiered at IFFR 2023 in the Tiger Competition.
