Synopsis
I’ve always hated my mother, at least that’s what I’ve remembered since I was a child. But I need to meet her again before she’s gone, to see if I can still love her or if these feelings are too deeply set to ever change.

Fala Pratika
Fala Pratika, born a month after Indonesia’s Reformation in 1998, discovered her love for cinema during childhood trips to local video rental stores. This passion led to her first short film in 2020. Intrigued by the complex experiences of women in Indonesia, she began exploring documentary filmmaking. In 2023, her first documentary project participated in the IDOC LAB (Indonesia Documentary Laboratory), marking a pivotal moment in her career.
Fadhilla Ristianty
Fadhilla Ristianty, a versatile creative working across sectors in the arts, graduated from UGM Sociology. She has worked as a content writer and participated in film festivals, including FFD and JAFF. Her short film credits include Madonna (2017), Maya (2019), and Babon (2021) by Sinung Winahyoko.
