The Living Legacy Of Roger Garaudy

Feature-Length Competition
2017 — 48 min — PG

Synopsis

The documentary explores the human and
intellectual imprint left by the French philosopher
and activist Roger Garaudy (1913-2012) in
Cordoba, including the creation of the Living
Museum of Al-Andalus. For Garaudy, who
accepted Islam in 1982, the Andalusian Cordoba
emerges as the cradle of the first European
Renaissance and as a paradigm for the future, a
place of encounter and coexistence.
