Synopsis
An immersion into memories where absence of a person takes hold. Through the diaries left behind by the filmmaker’s mother 20 years ago, Reading You (2023) is an attempt to reconcile with the decisions made in the past.

Angeline Teh
Angeline Teh is a Malaysian documentary filmmaker whose work explores memory, grief, and everyday intimacy. A DocNomads alumna, her debut short, Reading You (2023), won Best Student Documentary at Tirana and screened at SGIFF and Clermont-Ferrand. She is currently developing a personal feature on intergenerational trauma.
