We might agree: the world stops for a moment during a pandemic. Perhaps that\u2019s what led him to continue recording the simple days he spent. In the form of a letter to his dear friends far away, a montage of images and videos flowed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>How are you? Are we still friends? An evening stroll. Meeting a snail. Cycling. Shopping with his kid. Wife\u2019s labour. The colours of a blooming flower. A long recording that forgot to be turned off. A line of light that runs through the leaves. Director Shuhei Hatano invites the audience to listen, see, and pay attention: for us to take heart in the small things we often overlook and forget.
