At last, we have come to the final day of FFD 2019, and we are very grateful for all the pleasant experiences during the last six days. Academics, students, journalists, artists, philanthropists, and more have visited Taman Budaya Yogyakarta and other screening locations to enjoy this year\u2019s FFD. Thank you for your participation in FFD 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not over just yet! We still have several agendas to keep you entertained a little longer.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1.00 PM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"FFD<\/p>\n

Like the previous days, you can still enjoy the exhibition from<\/span> The Feelings of Reality<\/span><\/a> and<\/span> SchoolDoc<\/span><\/a> at the Lobby of Societet Taman Budaya Yogyakarta also another exhibition from<\/span> Sensory Ethnography: Eye Witness<\/span><\/a> at Kedai Kebun Forum.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be<\/span> Falsos Positivos<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2009) screening at Societet Taman Budaya Yogyakarta. This film is part of Screening Violence program and tells about the violence by the authorities against civilians that happened in Colombia back in 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition,<\/span> Le Film de Bazin<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2017) will also be screened at Auditorium IFI-LIP Yogyakarta. Directed by Pierre H\u00e9bert, the film tries to continue the unfinished work by Andr\u00e9 Bazin, French notable filmmaker who died of leukemia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"FFD<\/p>\n

After the screening of <\/span>Falsos Positivos <\/span><\/i>(2009) at Societet Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, the film<\/span> Village of Swimming Cows<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2018) will be screened. This film attempts to capture how Berlin hipsters intersect with real farmers and shows the contrasting lifestyle, adaptation efforts, and perspective towards life from the experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.00 PM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"FFD<\/p>\n

For the second time, we will present a compilation of films made by the finalists of FFD 2019<\/span> Short Documentary<\/span><\/a> Competition. In this session, you could enjoy four out of eight finalist films, namely:<\/span> Diary of Cattle<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2019),<\/span> More than Work<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2019),<\/span> Luar Biasa<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2019), and<\/span> Irama Betawi<\/span><\/i><\/a> (2019) at Auditorium IFI-LIP Yogyakarta. There will also be a Q&A session with several filmmakers of the screened films. Don\u2019t miss out!<\/span><\/p>\n

As the finale as well as FFD 2019\u2019s farewell, there will be an awarding ceremony open for public. We will invite juries to announce the winners from all FFD 2019 Documentary Competition categories. To conclude the day, the winning film of Student Documentary category will be screened specially for you.
