With a variety of landscape shots portraying the civic spirit, the film tells the story of Rusli, a wounded fighter who must be nursed back to health in a village. During his recovery, Rusli is taken care of by Tipi, Tuah\u2019s younger sister, his comrade-in-arms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As Rusli recovers, love blossoms between the two, until Rusli\u2019s whereabouts are discovered by Dutch troops. A confrontation between Dutch and Indonesian forces becomes inevitable. The battle to defend Indonesia\u2019s independence is simultaneously a battle to defend the village from the Dutch forces.
