This process not only connects the past with the present, but also shows how global and local, national and transnational contexts interact. Feature-length documentaries are not only defined by duration, but also how the time span functions as a \u201cdose\u201d in storytelling. For the filmmaker, duration serves as a space to develop a seemingly infinite story that allows for in-depth and layered presentation.
