Screening Violence

“Screening Violence” is an ambitious three-year interdisciplinary transnational study on the local imaginaries of societies in transition from conflict. It is a collaboration between various institutions in Algeria, Argentina, Colombia, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom – among them the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Limaenam Films, and Newcastle University.

Throughout FFD 2019, we invite you to watch and discuss some episodes of violence experienced by communities in Algeria, Colombia, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
