Le Mois du Documentaire

The France has culinary culture that is closely related to the traditions of certain social classes. One of them is the classic, elegant, and grande Haute Cuisine, which serves to legitimate the social status of the noblemen at certain period. Nowadays, the diminishing boundaries of geo-politics and cultures, open up the chance for us to taste the others’ delicacies in our daily meals or even French’s cuisine.

The discourse on food cannot be separated from the issues on ecology and global economy. Together with Bakudapan Food Study Group, this program invites us to discuss the problems behind our daily eating culture. This program is supported by Institut Francais d’Indonesia.
