Lanskap is an attempt to view and talk about various discourses in and about Indonesia. This program offers a point of view in interpreting Indonesia documentary film, and also in viewing Indonesia through documentary film. We string up those various discourses and make three chosen themes: history, workplace and diaspora. We pick these themes as a way to not only display criticism through the subjects as the victim, but also personal story in viewing various things that happen in Indonesia.

The chosen films in Lanskap are the important record from Indonesian—and Indonesian descent—in viewing Indonesia. Some of the films that we chose are the result of curating the FFD submission in 2017-2018. The themes in Lanskap is an endeavour to present discourse and dialog that’s often missing when we discuss Indonesia.
